Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend rotation (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients in a high-flow PCU unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, titrate IV drips as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Admit, transfer, and discharge patients efficiently
Float to Med/Surg, ICU, or ED as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU/Telemetry experience preferred
Ability to interpret telemetry and titrate drips
Valid driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Proficient in IV drip titration (Heparin, insulin, etc.)
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Adaptability to varying patient assignments
