Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, occasional weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across all acute care units including MedSurg, Tele, ICU, Orthopedics, Oncology, and Cardiology
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse diagnoses including total joints, ventilated patients, and post-surgical cases
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and rehab techs to optimize patient outcomes
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document progress using Cerner EMR
Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and hit the ground running from day one

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
Experience with orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients is essential
Ability to work independently and handle a diverse caseload across multiple units
Must be comfortable with a brief orientation and ready to contribute immediately

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care physical therapy including MedSurg, Tele, ICU, Orthopedics, Oncology, and Cardiology
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
Experience with vented patients and cardiac surgery populations
