Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights), 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate intravenous drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications as ordered
Monitor continuous EEG and interpret changes in patient status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Ability to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Driver's license required for verification of residency outside 50-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in titrating common cardiac and neurologic drips
Knowledge of stroke care, continuous EEG monitoring, and diabetes management
