Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with diverse diagnoses including CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, and post-surgical cases
Titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and CNAs to ensure optimal patient ratios
Monitor telemetry and respond to changes collaboratively with CCU staff
Float to other departments as needed to provide helping hands

Qualifications

Active RN license (Oregon license or eligible for OR 90-day emergency license)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in general medical-surgical nursing, including care for pediatric patients
Ability to titrate drips and manage telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing for adult and pediatric populations
Competence in using CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow equipment
Skill in titrating IV drips and interpreting telemetry
Strong teamwork and communication skills
