Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Apply principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental policies
Ensure standards of nursing practice are met for each patient
Utilize clinical databases and peripheral equipment as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care

Qualifications

1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Active Alaska RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
Current BLS certification
BSN preferred
Skilled in PC use, applicable software, and clinical databases

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nursing care techniques
Ability to use electronic health records and clinical systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of patient safety standards
