Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro patients, including post-surgical, post-crani, spine, and CVA cases
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, and intervene as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
Maintain a sterile field during procedures and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro Telemetry or similar setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced neuro unit with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
