End Date: 09-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend; one weekday off when weekend worked.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy to a diverse acute care patient population
Treat patients across med-surg, telemetry, ICU, and other units
Work with orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
Deliver therapy to ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California (or in process)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with orthopedics, total joints, ICU, vented patients, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to varying patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care rehabilitation and inpatient therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilator management
Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Comfortable covering a variety of patient populations
