Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as charge nurse and lead the nursing team
Administer medications accurately and safely
Perform wound care and monitor healing
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT and social worker as needed

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum of 1 year Long Term Care experience
Willingness to float if needed (though no floating required here)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment skills for LTC populations
Knowledge of medication administration and wound care
Ability to work independently as charge nurse
Comfortable with Matrix EMR system
Excellent communication and teamwork
