Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/MedSurg unit.
Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips like heparin and cardizem.
Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, social work, and dieticians.
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed, ensuring consistent patient care.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU and oncology experience
First-time travelers welcome
A genuine passion for patient care and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certification
Chemo certification required
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline) - training available if needed
