Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, includes every other weekend (Fri-Sun) and half of winter holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow in the unit
Function as the baby catcher and transition nurse for newborns
Administer medications including Pitocin drips as needed
Collaborate with on-call OB and anesthesia providers to ensure safe outcomes
Take charge nurse responsibilities and support the team

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Proficiency in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) nursing
Current certifications: ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM
Ability to triage and serve as baby catcher/transition nurse
Valid RN license in Colorado or compact state
