Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced PCU unit
Monitor and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Utilize critical thinking and communication skills to manage diverse diagnoses: cardiac, nephrology, strokes, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating cardiovascular and neurological drips
Strong assessment and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
