Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests across multiple departments as a night shift generalist
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including the EPIC Beaker system
Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed, following safety protocols
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results to support patient care
Collaborate with lab team to maintain quality control and compliance

Qualifications

MLT or MLS certification required (ASCP or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a generalist in a clinical lab
Must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Competent in phlebotomy techniques
Strong generalist lab skills including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
