Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed Med/Tele unit
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine
Manage PCU overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio and general medical patients with cardiac histories
Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to ensure quality patient outcomes
Float to MS or PCU as needed, providing full patient assignments

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of PCU and telemetry experience
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Telemetry and cardiac nursing

Reading cardiac strips
Strong communication and teamwork skills
