Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry for cardiopulmonary and neuro patients
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary team
Provide patient education and support to promote recovery
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent experience in telemetry or similar unit
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (max 2 attempts)
Successful completion of Sim Lab on day one
Strong EKG interpretation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
EKG interpretation
Neuro assessment
Ventilator management (Airvo/High Flow)
Patient ratio management (1:3-4)
