Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:30, days may vary including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
- Active Alaska state RN license in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- HS AED certification required
- Critical thinking skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide compassionate care
