Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiopulmonary telemetry and neuro patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using centralized telemetry
Perform EKG interpretation and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary team
Manage patient assignments with a 1:3-4 ratio, ensuring high-quality care
Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in telemetry or neuro nursing (within the past 6 months)
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam within 2 attempts
Ability to interpret EKGs independently
Experience with ventilators (Airvo/High Flow) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Strong neuro assessment and cardiopulmonary nursing skills
Proficiency in managing acute conditions such as CVAs and pulmonary issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
