Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend required, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects
Titrate medications such as insulin and cardizem as ordered
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Conduct hourly rounding to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Valid driver's license
Comfortable titrating drips and caring for patients on ventilators

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC charting system
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Knowledge of ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Skill in titration of common drips (heparin, cardizem)
Ability to work with diverse patient populations including oncology and trauma
