Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (0630-1900 or 1830-0700), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide advanced care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, and nephrology conditions
Titrate and monitor critical drips like Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive, fast-paced environment with strong communication and critical thinking

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year recent PCU or step-down experience preferred
Driver's license required for submittal to verify residency outside 50-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to titrate IV drips and manage complex patients
Comfortable with continuous EEG monitoring and stroke care
