Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments for a diverse outpatient caseload of orthopedic, total joint, vestibular, neuro, and balance patients
Collaborate with PTAs and other rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress and treatment plans using Cerner EMR system
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Participate in 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation to integrate seamlessly into the team

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapy license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient experience preferred
Must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year
Ability to provide two supervisory references (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
Proficiency with Cerner EMR for documentation
Strong communication and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with PTAs and aides
