Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, days and nights, every 3rd weekend, holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all respiratory therapy duties including ABGs, EKGs, and ventilator management
Treat patients across all age ranges from neonates to geriatrics
Cover emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient settings
Work independently as the sole RT on shift when needed
Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and charting
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS and NRP certifications preferred
At least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
Comfortable working independently and with all patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG collection and interpretation
Experience with EKG procedures
Skilled in ventilator management with PB980 and Hamilton C1
Knowledge of BiPAP and high flow therapy (V60)
Competent in Meditech EMR system
Ability to perform fit testing for respiratory protection
