Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating schedule, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation, on-call duty with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray imaging studies including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Operate GE and Toshiba equipment with precision and care
Utilize Radnet and Merge Unity PACS for image management
Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following infection control protocols
Float to Mercy Southwest location when needed (approximately 6.5 miles away)

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience
Current ARRT certification in Radiography
BLS certification from AHA
Ability to start IVs? Not required for this role
Comfortable floating between two locations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in GE and Toshiba imaging systems
Experienced with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
Knowledge of anatomy and positioning for brain, MRCP, abdominal, pelvic, and extremity studies
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an average of 100 scans per day
