Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU setting
Monitor and manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients, including continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate intravenous drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications as ordered
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support unit staffing

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license for identification and mileage determination
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac and neurological nursing care
Proficiency in titrating critical drips
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to floating requirements
Strong team collaboration and patient advocacy
