Roles & Responsibilities

Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Position patients accurately and safely for treatment delivery
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions
Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain accurate patient treatment records and documentation

Qualifications

Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
State licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Nebraska
Current BLS certification
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in operating linear accelerators and CT simulators
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
