Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging and PET/CT scans with precision and care
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM equipment
Ensure patient safety and compliance with radiation safety protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) required
Current BLS certification
PET experience required
DOT certification preferred (required within 90 days of extension)
Driver's license required for distance verification
Willingness to train on specific equipment if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques
Experience with Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM systems a plus
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
