Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays per unit schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide neuro-telemetry nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, trauma, and surgical cases
Monitor telemetry and interpret EKGs, titrate intravenous drips including Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
Perform Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes maintaining sterile field
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and conduct bedside report
Float to other MS/Tele floors as needed to support the unit

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with neuro experience highly preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
Competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with sterile technique

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Trauma and neuro nursing
Drip titration (Amio, Cardizem, Insulin)
Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork skills
