Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; on-call after 9pm and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including vascular, OB (all trimesters), and general ultrasound
Conduct interventional procedures as needed
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment including Toshiba and Phillips units
Document and report findings using EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses

Qualifications

Must hold BLS certification and ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) or RVS through CCI
Experience with general ultrasound, OB, and vascular procedures required
Preferably experienced in echocardiography
Valid driver's license within 60-mile radius
Comfortable working independently and on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
Knowledge of Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound equipment
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to prioritize and manage scan volumes of 10-15 studies per day
