Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day/night rotation, weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to intermediate care patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent IMC or step-down experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Experience with ventilators and telemetry preferred
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
