X-ray Technician - Day Shift

Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 02-07-2026

End Date: 09-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with occasional weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
Ensure patient safety through proper positioning and radiation protection
Maintain and operate imaging equipment following protocols
Assist radiologists during procedures and image interpretation
Document patient information and image records accurately
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Active California Radiologic Technologist license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray tech experience preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in radiographic positioning and techniques
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
