Shift Type: Evening shifts, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in Labor, Delivery, Recovery and the Women's Emergency Room
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans following ANA standards
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
Assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport via wheelchair or stretcher as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Rhode Island (RI) required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NIH Stroke Certification required
Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) experience is a must
Willingness to work in a Women's Emergency Room setting
Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records required
English proficiency required; physical ability to assist with patient handling

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDR nursing and emergency triage skills
Expertise in maternal-fetal assessment and monitoring
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and rapid decision-making under pressure
Patient education and advocacy for women's health
