Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Two shifts available: Days 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Nights 12-hour shifts 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with holiday and weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide post-procedural care for patients in the CHS (Cardiac/Heart/Surgical) unit
Monitor and manage medical step-down patients with telemetry
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient progress
Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge plans
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in med-surg or step-down nursing
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
BSN preferred, but not required

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and post-procedural care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) such as PointClickCare
