Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
Operate mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment with precision
Process and transmit images to PACS for interpretation
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Maintain accurate records and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

Current state Nuclear Medicine license (CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification)
At least one year of acute clinical radiology experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
Current BCLS (BLS) certification
CT/Fusion certification required
Proficient in computerized imaging systems

Education

Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT

Knowledge & Skills

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
Proficiency in radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment operation
Strong computer skills for PACS and documentation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
