Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform life-saving interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
At least 1 year of recent ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with telemetry, IV pumps, and central lines
Knowledge of ICU protocols and evidence-based practices
Ability to stay calm and effective in fast-paced, high-stress situations
