Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend; self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor titratable drips like heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and dietitians
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed, maintaining same level of care
Champion patient experience through hourly rounding and respectful, culturally sensitive care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent PCU/Oncology experience
First-time travelers are welcome!
Active RN license (compact license accepted)
Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications
Chemotherapy certification required
Valid driver's license (required at submission)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in EPIC charting system
Comfortable with chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan) a plus, but training available
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, diverse patient population
