Clinical Care Registered Nurse - Geriatric/Home Health
Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
Start Date: 07-06-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage emergent situations independently using advanced nursing knowledge
- Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with Primary Care Providers
- Develop and implement care plans for clinic and home-based direct care
- Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed
- Conduct home visits regularly for wound care, lab draws, and nursing assessments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan (must be currently active)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population
- Current BLS/BCLS certification from AHA
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
- Reliable transportation, valid Michigan driver's license, and car insurance
Education
- Associate's degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

- Patient assessment and medication administration
- Care planning and coordination
- Geriatric nursing and long-term care expertise
- Home health nursing and wound care skills
- CPR and triaging abilities
