Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care across the unit
Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain efficient flow
Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and resources as needed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage staffing assignments and adjust schedules to meet patient census demands
Respond to emergencies and ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred
Current BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient care coordination and unit management
Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective team collaboration and conflict resolution skills
