Location: Redwood City, California

Start Date: 06-17-2026

End Date: 09-16-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with possible weekend, start times between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM (e.g., 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm, 9:30am-6pm, 10:30am-7pm). Schedules provided in advance.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy to acute care patients across multiple units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
Manage a caseload of orthopedic and total joint patients, as well as ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including rehab techs and nursing staff
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation and adapt quickly to patient needs
Cover inpatient care with possible float to outpatient when needed

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Ability to work independently and handle a diverse patient population

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong clinical skills in acute care, orthopedics, and ICU
Experience with oncology, cardiology, and med-surg patients
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to fast-paced environment
