Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts starting at 07:00 AM, with one weeknight call per week and three weekend days per month (24-hour call)

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub in on a wide variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro (backs, cranis)
• Independently perform cranial procedures and assist with total joint and level II trauma surgeries
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced OR environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize advanced technology including DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond within 15 minutes when called in

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred but not required
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of recent OR experience with orthopedic trauma and total joint cases
• Proven ability to independently handle cranial procedures
• Experience with neuro cases and Level II trauma required
• Must be able to scrub all types of cases listed
• EPIC experience helpful
• Comfortable with call requirements and flexible schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Skilled in orthopedic trauma, total joint, neuro, and general OR procedures
• Proficient with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient safety advocacy
• Fast learner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
