Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (days 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, nights 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, and renal conditions
Titrate IV drips including Cardizem, betablockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and telemetry
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current registered nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license for identification and compliance with 50-mile radius rule
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of titratable drips and telemetry monitoring
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Competence in caring for cardiac, stroke, and renal patients
