Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with various start times (7am-7pm, 7am-3pm, 3pm-7pm, etc.), every other weekend required, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients on titratable drips like heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to other PCU and MedSurg units as needed to support the team
Participate in patient experience initiatives with hourly rounding

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, Oncology, or MedSurg
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemotherapy certification required; ONS/ONCC certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management (training available)
Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment
