Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 08-10-2026

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms
Titrate and manage cardiac drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Provide PCU-level care for patients with acute and chronic conditions
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care using Epic EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum PCU experience required
Telemetry and cardiac monitoring proficiency
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred
Open to first-time travelers

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
PCU and medical-surgical overflow care
Drip titration and management
Patient assessment and critical thinking
EPIC electronic health records
