Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring everything is set for each patient's plan
• Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
• Position patients precisely and perform imaging to verify treatment fields
• Educate patients on what to expect and answer their questions with compassion
• Maintain detailed records in ARIA and Epic, including treatment doses and documentation
• Obtain port films as prescribed to confirm treatment accuracy

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license in Radiologic Technology required at time of submittal
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must have your own dosimetry badge prior to starting assignment (or we can provide a spare)
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ARIA and Epic EMR systems
• Expert in patient positioning, immobilization, and treatment delivery
• Knowledge of all cancer types and common treatment protocols
• Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation abilities
