Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy assessments and treatments for a diverse acute care patient population including medsurg, tele, ICU, oncology, and cardiology
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and total joint patients
Manage ventilator-dependent patients in the ICU setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required
Experience with orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients highly preferred
Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple units (medsurg, tele, ICU, oncology, cardiology)
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
Ventilator management and ICU patient care
Cerner EMR proficiency preferred
