Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, various day/night options including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and split shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex drips like heparin and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamics and titrate medications as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining the same level of care
Be the type of nurse you'd want to work with - bring your smile and teamwork spirit every day

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU, Med/Surg, or Oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Comfortable with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Driver's license required for verification of distance from facility

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000) - training available
Experience with ventilator patients and trauma care
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, mixed acuity unit
