Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 and 1830-0630, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, med-surg, stroke, and vascular cases
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate cardiac drips such as Heparin, Nitro, and Cardizem
Manage arterial lines and high flow therapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Hold an active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proven competency in arterial line management and drip titration
Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced PCU environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Proficient in titration of cardiac drips
Experience with high flow therapy and arterial lines
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable and open to feedback
