Location: Redding, California

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Various shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours); night shifts may be required; specific schedule discussed during interview.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and X-ray procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced radiology department alongside skilled technologists and radiologists
Operate Philips CT equipment (iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16) and utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
Assist in OR cases using C-arms and support Level II trauma patients when needed
Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining ALARA radiation principles
Maintain certifications and comply with California state regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CT experience (first-time travelers welcome)
Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification
California Fluoroscopy permit required
Experience with Philips CT and Cerner EMR preferred
Level II trauma experience is a plus
Self-starter ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging
Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to varying shift lengths and patient volumes
