Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients, including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes management
Monitor and titrate intravenous drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation
Driver's license required for radius verification
Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to titrate drips and monitor complex patients
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
