Sonographer - General/OBGYN

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 4 ten-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; on-call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, drains, and biopsies
Ensure accurate documentation and image quality in EPIC and Fuji PACS
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required - General or OBGYN
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general and OBGYN ultrasound
Vascular experience and RVT strongly preferred
Ability to start IVs not required but preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Philips ultrasound equipment
Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with on-call and weekend rotations
