Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), includes weekend and holiday rotations

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, and more
Monitor and interpret telemetry, titrate heparin drips as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between facilities within Zone 3, adapting quickly to different environments
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg Telemetry experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with heparin titration
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Proficient in heparin titration and management
Ability to adapt to various patient populations and facility protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with floating between different units and hospitals
