Location: Dodge City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of laboratory tests as a Generalist on night shift to support patient care
Conduct phlebotomy procedures on rare occasions when needed
Utilize EPIC Beaker LIS system for specimen tracking, test ordering, and result reporting
Ensure accuracy and quality of lab results through meticulous attention to detail
Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver timely diagnostic information
Maintain lab equipment and supplies for smooth operations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory setting
MLT or MT certification (MLS preferred)
BLS certification required (as patient contact may occur)
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Willingness to relocate or commute within 60 miles of Dodge City, KS

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required
MLT or MT certification from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC and EPIC Beaker LIS systems
Strong generalist lab skills including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and microbiology
Basic phlebotomy skills for occasional draws
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
