Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (every other) and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse and lead the nursing team with confidence
Administer medications and perform wound care to ensure resident comfort
Monitor and assess residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with DON and on-call physicians for comprehensive care
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (required before start)
At least 1 year of LTC experience preferred
Comfortable working independently as charge nurse

Education

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Knowledge of wound care and geriatric nursing
Ability to lead and delegate effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
